Hi, I'm Charlotte — welcome to my website.

I'm a Location Manager working across scripted film and television. My career started in advertising back in the late 1990s, working as a Production Manager, before I made the leap into location managing and scouting. With a lifelong love of architecture, it turned out to be exactly the right fit.

No two projects are ever the same — I might be scouting spaceship interiors for a big superhero film one week, and a countryside cottage for a romantic comedy the next. My work has mostly kept me close to London, though I'm always looking for locations that can stand in for places much further afield.

What I love most is the process itself: taking a script apart, getting out on the road, and finding the places that make it real. A good instinct — and the occasional random idea — usually gets you there.

But finding the location is only half the job. I'm the fixer, the problem-solver — the one liaising with councils, residents and authorities, negotiating permissions, and sorting the logistics that often get forgotten, so the shoot runs smoothly and the crew can focus on getting the shot.

Alongside production work, I've spent the last 25 years quietly building a personal library of locations, a few of which I'm now starting to showcase here. If any of them might suit a brief, I'd love to hear from you.
